Nicole Johnson (Miss California USA)
Nicole Michele Johnson (born c. 1986)〔 is an American model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss California USA 2010. She was first runner-up in 2007.
==Early life==
Johnson, the daughter of teacher Annette Johnson and pharmaceutical sales manager Richard Johnson, moved with her family from Pennsylvania to Westlake Village, California, while in childhood.〔 She attended the Los Cerritos middle school Thousand Oaks, California, and graduated from Westlake High School in 2003.〔
When Johnson was 17, she read an advertisement in the ''Thousand Oaks Acorn'' for Miss California USA. Johnson, a Moorpark College student at the time, wanted to transfer to the University of Southern California and thought the scholarship would help pay her education.〔 Out of 304 contestants Johnson took first runner-up. She has since competed in seven pageants.
In 2007, Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. During her time at USC she focused on sports entertainment.〔 After college she went on to work as a financial assistant,〔 and later as a production assistant for the ESPN ESPY Awards.〔
